The Twenty Strip Tote pattern by Aunties Two has instructions for using one of the new packages of twenty 2 1/2" wide strips plus 1 yard of fabric to make the perfect every day bag.There are two or more inside pockets. Fun to make using tubes zigzag stitched together! Finished size is 12" tall x 12" wide x 4" deep.

Materials needed:

• Bag Body

  20 strips (2 1/2" x 42/44") 1 1/2 yd

  • OR

  • 14 strips for the lower bag body 1 yd

  • 6 strips for the upper bag body 1/2 yd

• Binding, Handles, Pockets 1 ydDouble-sided Fusible Batting (we recommend Duet Fuse II by Bosal) 1 yd

• Medium Weight Cotton Batting 45" wide (for the bag body) 1 yd

• Matching Cotton Thread (use a 50 weight 2 ply thread)

• Handles (1/4" diameter plumbing tubing) 5 ft

• Buttons 2 large (or more for a layered look)1 heavy duty magnetic button
